Your store and your warehouse, connected directly.

The Connector

An online store and a third-party warehouse typically run on different software platforms that were not designed to communicate with each other. Without an integration layer between them, staff must transfer orders and tracking numbers manually, and an error can reach the customer before anyone has the chance to review it.

The Connector removes that gap: it retrieves new orders from your store, validates them against rules you configure, forwards them to the warehouse in the required format, and returns the tracking number as soon as a parcel ships, continuously and without manual intervention.

01 · Key benefits

Key Benefits

Everything a warehouse and an online store need to exchange, without manual data entry.

Integrates with Shopify, PrestaShop, Odoo and TikTok Shop today, plus a custom API or FTP connection for any other platform

Product catalogue, orders, statuses, tracking numbers and stock levels are synchronized automatically and continuously

Rules for carrier selection, promotional items, product bundles and mandatory fields can be updated within minutes, without development work

An order that fails validation is rejected rather than shipped incorrectly, and can be corrected and resubmitted within seconds

The warehouse retrieves orders on its own schedule, so no change is applied once an order is already being prepared

Updates received from the warehouse are reconciled by time and priority, even when they arrive out of sequence

An alert is triggered as soon as order intake or stock synchronization stops, so an interruption is identified immediately

Connector data is deleted automatically and permanently when a store is disconnected or deactivated, in line with GDPR requirements

02 · Data flows

Four Types of Data Are Exchanged Between Your Store and Your Warehouse

Synchronized automatically

Each flow operates on its own schedule, so your store never displays stock the warehouse cannot fulfil, and the warehouse never receives an order for a product it does not recognize.

Product catalogue

Transferred from your store to the warehouse before orders are, so only a recognized product can be included in an order.

Orders

Retrieved from your store at regular intervals and forwarded to the warehouse once validated against your rules.

Statuses and tracking numbers

Returned to your store as the warehouse processes the order: in preparation, shipped or cancelled, together with the tracking number.

Stock levels

Retrieved from the warehouse at regular intervals and reported to your store, calculated separately for each store when more than one is connected.

03 · Workflow

One Order, From Your Store to a Tracking Number

Step 1. Order retrieval
Step 2. Rule validation
Step 3. Order confirmation
Step 4. Warehouse processing
Step 5. Order completion

The Connector checks each connected store for new orders at regular intervals.

To limit the number of requests sent to your store:

  • A summary is retrieved first, to identify which orders require action
  • The full order is retrieved only once it has been identified as new

No order is missed, and requests to your store are limited to what is necessary.

Each store has its own set of rules, applied to every order it generates.

A rule can, for example:

  • Assign a different carrier once a parcel exceeds a defined weight or is shipped to a specific destination
  • Add a promotional item once an order exceeds a defined amount
  • Split a bundled product into the individual items the warehouse must prepare
  • Reject an order when required information is missing, such as a pickup point identifier

An order that cannot be validated is rejected rather than processed: it can be corrected and resubmitted within minutes, which is not possible once a parcel has shipped.

Each order is confirmed or declined before further processing.

Your store displays:

  • Accepted: the order has been taken into account by the warehouse
  • Declined: the request has been refused; the cause can be corrected and the order resubmitted

Every order receives a response; none remain pending indefinitely.

The Connector does not transmit orders to the warehouse directly. It makes them available for retrieval.

From this point:

  • The warehouse retrieves the order on its own schedule and confirms receipt
  • Progress is reported as it occurs: received, in preparation, packed, shipped, or an issue such as an error or insufficient stock

Once preparation has started, later changes to the order are no longer transmitted to the warehouse, so both systems always describe the same parcel.

The process is completed once the warehouse reports that the parcel has shipped.

The Connector then:

  • Transmits the tracking number to your store and marks the order as fulfilled
  • Processes updates by timestamp and priority rather than order of arrival, so an error reported at the same time as a shipping confirmation takes precedence

Your customer receives a tracking link automatically, and the shipment does not need to be verified by hand.

04 · Rules

One System, Configured Differently for Each Store

Examples of rule configurations

A rule defines a condition and a corresponding action, applied to every order received from a given store. Changing a client's configuration means adding or editing a rule rather than modifying the software, and the change takes effect immediately.

Carrier selection

Assign a different carrier once a parcel exceeds a defined weight or is shipped to a specific destination.

Promotional items

Add a complimentary item automatically once an order exceeds a defined amount.

Bundles

Split a product sold as a single unit into the individual items the warehouse must prepare.

Data validation

Reject an order when a required field, such as a pickup point identifier, is missing.

Time-limited rules

Apply a rule only during a defined period, after which it is no longer applied.

Documents

Attach an invoice or another document to the order automatically.

05 · Reliability

Designed to Prevent Incorrect Shipments

The Connector operates between two systems that were not designed to communicate directly, so it is responsible for handling every failure scenario on its own. Its behaviour is governed by five principles.

Rejection takes priority over error

A parcel sent to an incorrect address or carrier cannot be recovered. An order that is rejected can be corrected and resubmitted within minutes, which is why the Connector stops and reports the cause whenever a validation issue arises.

The warehouse controls its own schedule

Orders are made available to the warehouse but are never transmitted automatically. Once an order is being prepared, further changes to it are no longer applied, so both systems always describe the same parcel.

Updates are processed by time, not by arrival order

The warehouse can send several updates for the same order within a short period, and not necessarily in sequence. The Connector processes them by timestamp and priority, so an error reported at the same time as a shipping confirmation takes precedence.

System interruptions are reported immediately

Every completed run is logged, and an alert is sent as soon as order intake or stock synchronization stops, so an interruption is identified without delay.

No data is lost

All information received from the warehouse is stored before it is processed. An update that cannot yet be matched to an order is retained and processed again later.

06 · Statuses

Order Status Definitions

Each order is in one of seven statuses, from the moment it is received until it ships.

Received

The order has been received from your store.

Rejected

The order did not pass rule validation. The cause can be corrected and the order resubmitted.

Ready

The order has passed validation and is available to the warehouse, which has not yet started processing it.

In fulfilment

The warehouse is preparing or packing the order. This status also applies when an error or a stock shortage is reported.

Fulfilled

The parcel has shipped, and the tracking number has been transmitted to your store.

Returned

The parcel has been returned, in full or in part.

Cancelled

The order was cancelled before shipping.

07 · Platforms

Platforms Connected Today

The Connector is available today for the platforms below. Each one exchanges the same information described earlier: product catalogue, orders, order status and tracking numbers, and stock levels.

PrestaShop

Open-source e-commerce platform, widely used across Europe.

Odoo

Open-source business management suite with an integrated online store module.
